Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure Inc., a Full Throttle lifetime experience company, has secured exclusive use, by a driving school, of the highly popular Talladega Superspeedway, a division of International Speedway Corp.
The racing program has also increased its Talladega track dates for the coming year by 50 percent, according to a press release. The exclusive agreement is for one year, with an option to renew for a second year.
The Talladega Superspeedway has been Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure’s most popular venue, according to the release. Obtaining exclusive rights to the track will allow it to maximize its economic potential while more effectively expanding the Dale Jarrett brand in the region.
Additionally, with the company’s shop and support staff located in Talladega, Ala., the 2.66-mile tri-oval track is also the most cost-effective of the company’s eight venues to staff and support, according to the release.
“We’re delighted to be able to announce this major achievement in the growth of our core business,” said Tim Shannon, CEO, Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure. “By increasing our track dates at Talladega by 50 to 60 percent, we are increasing our potential revenue from this site alone by more than $1 million annually. At the same time, we are maximizing the advantage gained by strategically relocating our support services to Talladega four years ago as we focused our efforts on capturing this essential market. Our success in gaining exclusive rights to this venue is one of the most significant accomplishments in the history of the company.”
The Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure offers racing fans the opportunity to race an authentic race car on a major racetrack. More information is available at www.racingadventure.com.
